CODA Winners!

A huge congratulations to both Carys Surbey and Alison Lee for their amazing wins at the 2026 NODA awards.

Carys is a district winner for the ‘Sybil Conway Awards for Best Female Character in a Play’ for her leading role as Clarissa Hailsham-Brown in our November 2025 production of Spider’s Web. Featuring in virtually every scene, and enduring murder, police interrogation and conmen in the space of two hours, Carys brought the role to life as the lynchpin to the show.

And for her role as Miss Peake in Spider’s Web, Alison is a district winner for the ‘Harvey Kesselman Comedy Award for Best Comedic Performance in a Play or Musical’. Bringing wit and comedic flair to her performance, Alison was the unassuming character upon whom the whole story turned.

We wish them both luck as they move forward to the regional awards.
